We are searching for official documents to show that Sampson Crabtree is the son of Seymore Esquire Crabtree born Jan 1, 1781 in Washington County, Tn and died on Mar 5, 1849 in Overton County Tn. Several years ago I made a trip to Overton County and met with some descendants of Squire and they indicated it was believed that Sampson was a son of Squire.

If this is the case then Sampson is a descendant of Isaac Crabtree born Aug 21, 1757 and his wife Sarah Sally Pike.
